Nevada Registered Investment Adviser Compliance
Nevada is a fiduciary-rule state. FIN Group provides fractional CCO services, Form ADV filings, annual reviews, and exam support for Registered Investment Advisers operating here.
Who needs to register in Nevada
Any Registered Investment Adviser with a principal place of business in Nevada, or with clients located in Nevada above the de minimis threshold, must register with the Nevada Secretary of State — Securities Division or — if eligible — with the SEC.
Nevada-specific nuance
Nevada imposes statutory fiduciary duty on all broker-dealers and investment advisers (NRS 628A) and charges $300 for RIA registration.
