Fund Launch · Powered by InvestPrep
Launch your fund without a $30,000 head start
The Fund Launch Pack turns your fund terms into a reviewable offering packet for a flat fee. Answer a guided intake once and you get a subscription agreement, investor suitability questionnaire, side letter shell, one-page LP term summary and a sequenced launch checklist — then your fund, terms and investors pre-load into InvestPrep so nothing is retyped.
What's in the packet
Five documents, drafted from your answers and delivered e-signature ready inside InvestPrep.
Subscription agreement
Commitment amount, investor representations, signature and wiring pages drafted from your fund terms.
Investor suitability questionnaire
Accredited investor and qualified purchaser certifications, source of funds, AML/OFAC identification, ERISA and PEP screening, and W-9/W-8 tax form selection.
Side letter shell
MFN, fee, reporting and co-investment placeholders ready for negotiation with anchor LPs.
Fund term summary
A one-page LP-facing summary of structure, fees, waterfall and liquidity terms.

Fund launch FAQ
What is the Fund Launch Pack?
The Fund Launch Pack is a flat-fee package that turns your fund's terms into a ready-to-review offering packet: a subscription agreement, investor suitability questionnaire, side letter shell, a one-page LP term summary, and a sequenced launch checklist. You answer a guided intake and the packet is drafted from your answers, then pre-loads into InvestPrep's Fund Admin Pro module so nothing is retyped when you start onboarding investors.
How much does it cost to launch a private fund with FIN Group?
The self-serve Fund Launch Pack is $2,500 one-time. The concierge version, where a FIN Group fund-admin consultant runs the intake call and completes the packet for you, is $4,000 one-time. Independent legal review by outside counsel is scoped and billed separately by the law firm, typically $2,500–$5,000. Managers who also need RIA registration and an ongoing compliance program use our RIA + Alternative Fund Launch Package instead, which starts at $18,500 setup plus $4,950 per month.
How long does it take?
The self-serve intake takes roughly 30–45 minutes and the packet drafts the same day. The concierge version is typically complete within five business days of the intake call. Formation, legal review and bank or custody account opening run on their own timelines.
Is the Fund Launch Pack legal advice?
No. FIN Group and InvestPrep are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice. Every document produced by the Fund Launch Pack is a draft prepared from the information you supply and must be reviewed and finalized by qualified counsel before it is used to offer or sell interests in a fund.
Which fund structures does it support?
Single-asset SPVs, venture capital funds, private equity and buyout funds, real estate funds, private credit and debt funds, hedge and open-end funds, funds of funds, search funds and independent sponsor vehicles, real assets and niche strategies, and SPAC or co-investment sidecars. The intake supports Delaware LPs and LLCs, Series LLCs, Cayman exempted companies and master-feeder structures.
How is this different from the RIA + Alternative Fund Launch Package?
The Fund Launch Pack is document-first: it produces the offering packet and loads your fund into InvestPrep. The RIA + Alternative Fund Launch Package is a full engagement — RIA or exempt reporting adviser registration, a named compliance team, Form D and Blue Sky filings, an ongoing Rule 206(4)-7 program, and fund administration. Many managers start with the Pack and upgrade once they are raising from outside investors.
Do I still need a fund administrator?
Yes, once you begin taking capital. The Fund Launch Pack ends at a reviewed offering packet and a configured fund record. Capital calls, distributions, NAV, investor capital accounting and audit support are delivered through InvestPrep's Fund Admin Pro module, either self-serve or with FIN Group's co-piloted and outsourced fund-admin teams.
