Who needs to register in Texas
Any Private Fund Manager / Exempt Reporting Adviser with a principal place of business in Texas, or with clients located in Texas above the de minimis threshold, must register with the Texas State Securities Board (TSSB) or — if eligible — with the SEC.

Texas requires Form U4 fingerprint cards for each IAR and a $75 firm registration fee plus $35 per IAR annually.
